Hello, my name is Felicia Strickland. I am a mother of two, daughter Fay’Lis and son, Shawn. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Health Education with a concentration in Human Development. I have my North Carolina Childcare Credentials, and my Administration Credentials. I was a former Preschool Director, and I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood facilities.

I love making a “mess”! Sensory, Science, and Art are my favorite activities. Water play, digging, sorting stones, finding bugs, drawing pictures with sticks, chalk drawings, dribbling mud, and enjoying all the different textures at my fingertips.

I love teaching because children come from diverse backgrounds and developmental levels, which necessitates providing a range of opportunities for them to explore, learn, observe, participate, and interact with each individual appropriately.
