Thank you for your interest in Holly Springs Learning Center. Our fully licensed and insured facility is located on Holly Springs Road near Holly Ridge Elementary School. Our building consists of 13 classrooms and is licensed for 199 children.
Holly Springs Learning Center provides preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, along with programming for school-age children ages 5 to 9 years old (K-3) who attend both traditional and year round (July 2011) schools.
The staff at Holly Springs Learning Center is comprised of degreed Lead Teachers who have experience working with preschool children, and Assistant Teachers who are dedicated to providing excellence in the classroom. Our day is structured to allow both teacher-directed and student-directed activities throughout the day. This allows children the freedom to make choices about their day while exploring their individual interests. Academics are approached through the use of theme units, and are developmentally appropriate for preschool children. In addition to regular scheduled daily activities children have the opportunity to attend Gym class in our gym with Coach Jaime and receive a special Spanish lesson with our Spanish Teacher Senora Debbie.
Our staff members are trained in practicing positive discipline and redirection techniques which gently guide children toward making good decisions. This helps build a healthily self-esteem in the children we care for and builds a meaningful relationship between teacher and child.
Respect for children, staff, and parents is shown daily through the way our staff interacts with our families and each other. Our school is truly a family. Parents are always welcome to visit during the day, to attend special events, volunteer in the classroom or to join our Parent: Teacher Organization.
